Israeli Masonic medal, circa. 1970's; possibly by Kretchmer; gold coated bronze; 31mm, 15.55g. Obverse: Hebrew initials A.Sh.R.M; above the pillars "May there be Light", and at base, "Jerusalem Day". Reverse: a scroll with names of 4 Israeli lodges and their numbers as issued by the Scottish Rite (one each in Haifa & Jerusalem, two in Tel Aviv); at base a small letter "Kuf" which may be the medallist's name - probably [Shmuel] Kretchmer. "Jerusalem Day" is an annual national holiday celebrated on the 18th of the Jewish month of "Iyar" (i.e. around late May, early June).
