US: B'nai Brith Grand lodge bronze 70th anniversary commemoration token, 1933, by Granat Brothers; size: 36.25mm; weight: 13.9g. Obverse: Tablets against cloud; legend "B'nai B'rith Grand Lodge Distict No 4", with English & Hebrew founding dates below (1863). Reverse: 'Justice'; legend "For the Cause of Humanity" + date 1933 at base. Bnai Brith is an international Jewish fraternal organization, which carries out community and charitable work; district 4 refers to the region from British Columbia and Montana to Utah and Arizona. The Jewish jewelers Joseph and Leo Granat sold their retail business to Zales in 1961.
