WW2 Envelope with letter sent from Frankfurt to Binyamina 1937 WHW, with a banner underneath reading 'Ein Volk hilft sich selbst'. Nazi Stamp: eagle with swastika
on the postage stamp - a picture of Paul von Hindenburg. The Reich President died in 1934, but the stamps with his profile were printed until 1941, and were in circulation until the end of the war in 1945. The postcard also shows the stamp of the WHW (Winterhilfswerk) organization, which helped the unemployed and poor in Nazi Germany. On the stamp there is an eagle with a swastika and the inscription "The people help themselves"
