R. Meir Don Plotzki (1866-1928), was known as a child prodigy. He studied under R. Chaim Elazar Wachs (Nefesh Chaya), R. Yisroel Yehoshua of Kutna and the Avnei Nezer. He was a close Chassid of both the Sfas Emes and the Imrei Emes of Ger. He served as Rav in D’vart from 1891-1918. In 1920, R. Meir Don was appointed as Rav in Ostrov. R. Meir Don was also instrumental in the establishment of the Agudas Yisroel movement. His many works, most notably the Klei Chemdah, are widely popular.
