Hermann Chaim Aharon Struk (also known as Haim Aharon Ben David, 1876 - 1944) was a Jewish and Zionist painter and artist. One of the most important Jewish artists in Germany, who immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1922. His works were collected in books of etchings and prints, many of which were devoted to sights from his travels around the world. In addition, Struck served as a Zionist activist in the Mizrachi movement, participated in several meetings of the World Zionist Congress, was a member of the Zionist General Council, and served as a member of the board of directors of the Jewish National Fund.
Rabbi Chaim (Heinrich) Brody (1868 - 1942) was a rabbi, bibliographer, linguist, and one of the most important scholars of the medieval poetry of Sephardic Jewry. He was born into a family of great rabbis in the Torah His mother's father is Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried, author of the "Kitzur Shulchan Aruch" and one of the leaders of ultra-Orthodox Jewry at the beginning of its career. His father, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Brody, served as Dayan in Ungvar and published Torah novellae in several periodicals. Both the father and later the son were members of the Mizrachi movement.
