A letter of thanks from Halitzi - from the painter Elia Masinigalia to Rabbi David Avraham Chai. Italy 19th century.
In the letter he writes to the rabbi about receiving the title "Navon" for reading the Talmud.
Rabbi David Avraham Hai Bibanti (1806-1876 ) served as Rav of Ancona (Italy), was a disciple of Rabbi Shimshon Yaakov Shabtai of Sienigalia, of the Yad David Institute, Rabbi Chaim Palleg In his book "Ru'ach Chaim" (ibid., Paragraph 2), he mentions
"the great Rabbi, the holy city and Kaddish, as Rabbi David Avraham Chai Didier Bibanti, Rabbi Ancona."
