Nakajima Raishô (1796-1871) was one of the „four great masters of Kyoto“ during his time. He was the teacher of Kawabata Gyokushô and of Kôno Bairei. Pictures by Raishô can be seen at the MFA Boston, National museum Kyoto and at other places.
