Full Disclosure - the necklace was given about 4 years ago,when it was Dismantled and lacking parts, as wages to a jeweler in Kiyat Shmona.

The item was given to a jeweler by a woman of about 90 years old, who was accompanied by nursing care giver, and she told him that this was a gift from her grandfather, wich he had prepared for her in the warsaw Ghetto.

The story has not been verified and has no corroboration beyond the details specified.

The item has been restored and repaired in simple parts and materials. which reflects the great lack of meatirials in that time.
