Shulchan Aruch. Even HaEzer and Choshen Mishpat, halachic decisions by Rabbi Yosef Karo and Rabbi Moshe Isserles. This edition features the first printing of the Gur Aryeh by Rabbi Gur Aryeh HaLevi. Mantua, 1723.
268 leaves, about 23 cm. Two title pages, one for each section. The first title page was switched due to criticism of the illustration that originally appeared, with four Jewish sages.
Rabbi Gur Aryeh HaLevi (17th century) was an Italian sage, the rabbi of Mantua, and a noted Torah genius and kabbalist of his time.
