Three Important Prayer Books with Elucidations and Instructions in Ladino

1-2. Machzor L'Rosh HaShanah V'LYom Kippur per the Sephardic customs, with instructions in Ladino. Jerusalem, Zukerman press, [1911-1914]. Two volumes.

Rosh HaShanah: [4], 168 leaves. Yom Kippur: [1] 282 leaves, approximately 21 cm. The Rosh HaShanah section features an introduction in Ladino and the "Achot Ketanah" piyut in Ladino. Throughout both prayer books there are commentaries and instructions in Ladino. The section for Rosh HaShanah was printed three years after the Yom Kippur section, and both sections were printed in a similar format. Two similar bindings [original half-leather] with embossed name: Emanuel Moshe Shaltiel. Fine condition.

3. Avodat HaShanah prayer book, including prayers for the entire year with compiled halachahs and instructions in Ladino. Belgrade, 1904. Ethics of the Fathers with commentary in Ladino. Includes an addendum printed later, with letters of praise from rabbis.
