Letter from Rabbi Yisrael Eliyahu Plotkin of Minsk, to Sir Moses Montefiore. Petersburg, [1872].
Letter Content: Perhaps Montefiore would be interested in subsidizing the printing of his new elucidation on the building of the Holy Temple described in Ezekiel, with the addition of a sketch of the Holy Temple. The author writes that, thank G-d, the Jewish people is not widowed, and he will find someone to help fund the publication. However, since he had been together with Montefiore in Petersburg at the time, "I said ... this will also be published through the honorary Sir Moses Montefiore ... when he visited Russia for the second time."
The book was printed, under the title Biur Ben Shlomo in Petersburg, in 1875.
