Brand Plucked from the Burning - a Tefillin Case that Survived the Holocaust – Romania

A Tefillin case that had belonged to a Holocaust survivor, of the Goldenberg family from Romania. After the war, he immigrated to Israel with his wife with the Tefillin case, which was with him during the complete war (most likely in Transnistria). 
The couple lived in Rupin Street, Tel Aviv and died during the 1980's at an old age, leaving no children after them.
The case is entwined with silver threads and is a nice frame.
Condition: Good. Slight flaws.
