Manuscript of sermons and novellae on the order of the Torah readings. Central Europe? Mid-19th century. [26] leaves, 34 cm. Written in Yiddish-German. Tens of short sermons for Shabbat and the holidays and solitary leaves with novellae on the Talmud. The writer was apparently a rabbi, and he writes ‘I gave this sermon..’ and ‘I didn’t give a sermon’. Many dates are mentioned between 1852-1873. The writer has not been identified. New binding. Aging stains. Fine condition.
