Manuscript, novellae on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah and Tractate Gittin. 19th Century. [104] leaves, 20 cm. Clear, legible Ashkenazic hand. Outstanding halachic work written by a prominent Torah scholar, familiar with the Talmud and poskim. He quotes Rabbi Yonatan Eibshitz’s “Kreisi V’Pleisi” and mentions the “Beit Meir”. The author also writes: “and this explains my question with the Gaon Yaakov of Lissa ztz”l” –this refers to Rabbi Yaakov of Lissa, author of the Chavat Da’at, who passed away in 1832. Includes novellae on Tractate Gittin. New binding. Very fine condition.
