Manuscript of Sha’arei Kedusha with commentary Lehem Todah. Glosses. Yemen, 19th century.
On thick paper, a scribal manuscript. In the center of the pages is the wording of the book, with halachot of shechita and treifut, by Rabbi Yehi Tzalach, the Maharitz, around which is the commentary Lehem Today by Rabbi Yehi ben Rabbi Yehuda Bedichi. Nice, organized Yemenite writing. Light leather binding with inscriptions and the remains of strings for tying. Cover page has various signatures of ownership. Number of glosses. Stains. Moth damage. Original binding. 129 pages. 16.5x11.5cm. Ok to good condition.
