CAUCASIAN SHASHKA. Silver handle with niello decor, Ottoman blade in stainless steel Cypher of Emperor Alexander III and inscriptions in Cyrillic characters : « Iron Wolf, sword of Damascus », missing his scabbard. Wear of time, but good condition. Period: Alexandre III (1881-1894). L. : 90 cm. ШАШКА КАВКАЗСКАЯ ОФИЦЕРСКАЯ С СЕРЕБРЯНОЙ РУКОЯТЬЮ, БЕЗ НОЖЕН. Россия, последняя четверть XIX века. Дамасская сталь, дерево, серебро без пробы, ковка, чернь, прочеканка, гравировка. Длина общая - 90 см. Клинок украшен изображением вензеля Императора России Александра III - « A III » и надписью на кириллице: «Железный волк, дамасковый клинок» (« Iron Wolf, sword of Damascus »). Состояние сохранности: хорошее, следы бытования.
