Letter of blessing to Mr. Harry Kahn, written by the future prime minister of Israel Levi Eshkol dated 28/12/1958.Blessing him for all the communal activities he did during the years.
Printed stencil on an official letter head from the Israeli Government concluding with the signature of Levi Eshkol.
Harry J Kahn was born in Serbia in 1880, in 1902 he moved to New York and was active for the Labor party being from the first activists and later in American Jewish Congress,He was also active for KKL (Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael), and for various groups. He wrote many articles mostly in American Jewish newspapers (mostly in Yiddish language) under alias signatures.
