Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijnwas a Dutch draughtsman, painter and printmaker. An innovative and prolific master in three media, he is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art and the most important in Dutch art history. He lived between the years 1606-1669.

Moses Breaking the Tablets of the Law is a 1659 painting by the Dutch artist Rembrandt. It is now in the Gemäldegalerie, Berlin.
