Ben-Tzion Wax was born in Tel Aviv in 1936. He was one of the biggest collectors in Israel.  He started collecting stamps at age 10, then coins, banknotes, famous signatures/autographs, art, judaica, old books, silver, and items pertaining to pre-State Israel.  Wax even collected unique birds, massive fish tanks and more.

In 1983 he moved with his family to Ramot HaShavim. Ben-Tzion Wax died suddenly and unexpectedly in 2017, in the backyard of his home, among the animals he took care of and loved.

A letter from 1941 signed by R' Moshe Belavi, to Dr. Baruch Kirsch.

R' Belavi was, at the time of the letter, the head of the committee of the Ashkenazim in Jerusalem.  He was also the leader of the Charedim in Jersalem and one of the heads of Agudat Yisrael.
