Ben-Tzion Wax was born in Tel Aviv in 1936. He was one of the biggest collectors in Israel. He started collecting stamps at age 10, then coins, banknotes, famous signatures/autographs, art, judaica, old books, silver, and items pertaining to pre-State Israel. Wax even collected unique birds, massive fish tanks and more.
In 1983 he moved with his family to Ramot HaShavim. Ben-Tzion Wax died suddenly and unexpectedly in 2017, in the backyard of his home, among the animals he took care of and loved.

Four signatures of R' Zalman Yosef Halevi Soloveitchik (1874-1942). He was born in Jerusalem and was a pharmacist who opened up a pharmacy in Mea Shearim. In this lot are documents of The American Central Relief Committee.There are three receipts (with signatures) in very good condition. There are also four invitations in the lot with, other than R' Soloveitchik's signature, signatures of other big rabbies of the time: R' Dov Abramowitz, R' Fischel Bronstein, R' Yosef Gershon, R' Yechiel Michal Tuchachinsky, R' Yaakov Yitzchak Teitelbaum, R' Michal Mushkin, R' Zerach Epstein, R' Zvi Pesach Franck, R' Naftali Frush, R' Yisrael Rubin. The invitations have rips in them but are very legible.
