A long question letter by Rabbi Shmuel Meir HaCohen Hollander to the Rishon Le'Zion and the first Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi Ben-Zion Meir Hai Ouziel. 1948.
In the letter, Rabbi Hollander writes that there was in his community (Darbani - Romania), soap and asks whether he defiles priests and whether it should be buried.
A rare and chilling letter. 
Rabbi Shmuel Meir HaCohen Hollander [1889-1965] son ​​of Rabbi Natan David Av Beit Din of Amsana and son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Shalom Hager of Storozynitz. From 1913 he served as rabbi of the "Neveh Tzedek" neighborhood and a Hasidic congregation in Tel Aviv.
He was known as one of the greatest rabbis in the Land of Israel. He corresponded in Halakha and Chasidut with all the greatest of his generation. One of the close relatives of Rabbi of Tchebin Rabbi Aharon of Belz and the Chazon Ish (see Pe'er Ha-Dor, 4, p. 191; Photograph of the Chazon Ish's response to him).
Disciple of Rabbi Shlomo of Bobov, close to the Admor of Belz, Ruzhin, Vizhnitz and Sanz. His novellae were printed in the books "Shem HaCohen" responsa and Drashot "Maharasham HaKohen" on the Torah and numerous articles, many of which were brought in his name in a series of books by "Migdolei Ha'Torah V'Hachasidut" and other books.
