Shimon Peres
Shimon Peres was an Israeli politician and public figure. He served as the ninth President of the State of Israel between 2007-2014 and as Prime Minister of the Eighth Government in 1984-1986, and for about seven months after the Rabin assassination in 1995-1996. For five decades he served as a member of the Knesset, and in some of them he served in senior Israeli government. He was chairman of the Labor Party for 20 years.
