Haggadah Shel Pesach - Seder Sheni. Mishmar HaGvul [1965]
Vowelized non-traditional haggadah with illustrations and emphasis on the role of the soldiers of the Mishmar HaGvul [border control].
"Why is this night different ... because all other nights, we absorb cold and bitterness - tonight, it's is all rest and relaxation. All other nights, we absorb all other blows [plagues], tonight is completely joyous. All other nights, we don't snore even once, tonight without limit. All other nights we guard whether sitting or leaning, tonight we are all off [guard]." The title page notes: "Well-wishes for independence for those celebrating within the borders ... as the Holiday of Liberation falls upon those who guard the borders." Includes an original song with the title "V'Shuv Achim Nifatzeach Panu B'Shirah," describing the tasks of the border control guards. With an illustration of an armed border control guard and more.
