The famous Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach - (1910-1995) was the Rosh Yeshiva of Kol Torah and one of the greatest halakhic authorities. Born in Jerusalem to his father Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach - Rosh Yeshiva of the Kabbalists Sha'ar Hashamayim. Was the outstanding disciple of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, who was very impressed and brought his words in his book "Ibn Hazel". In 1935, when he was only 24 years old, he published his first book, Maori Ash, on the use of electricity on the Sabbath, and received the approbations of the great rabbis of the generation, including Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzansky, Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer and Rabbi Kook.
