Stamp and signature of owner:
Hermann Translateur from Rastatt (Holocaust survivor; has a "stumbling stone" in his honor in Rastatt. The small brass plaques, in the pavement in front of houses of which the (mostly Jewish) residents were persecuted or murdered by the Nazis, mention the name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death
*Meyer/Meir (Marcus) Lehmann (1831 – 1890) was a leading German Orthodox rabbi. He was known to be a prolific writer.
Hard, canvas cover and comes with case.
Inner binding starting to detach, some age stains. Otherwise in very good condition.
