Birobidzhan Jewish Autonomous Region: 3x Soviet-era stamp sheets (10 x 10) overprinted "Birobidzhan" (in Russian) & dated 1993, with obliteration device in design, incrementally-increasing denominations (from left to right) & Jewish-artistic full-page design incorporating motifs of Star of David, 7-branched Menorah & de-Christianized famous metalwork gating from the Domus Flevit chapel window overlooking the Temple Mount (Cross removed from lower-center of the design); note recurring overprint flaw (smudge) on 4th column from left on all 3 sheets + gradually upward-shifting denominational overprint as rows go further down; MNH & OG (3pc)
