Book of Engravings - Cabinet de L'Art de Schulpture
A rare edition of a collection of beautiful engravings illustrating the sculptures by the Flemish sculptor Francis Bossuit (Brussels 1635 - Amsterdam 1692), who was famous for his bone sculptures. At first he worked in Italy but later came to work in Holland. Several of the sculptures depicted in this book still exist and can be seen in some of the larger European museums.
