Responsa Amudei Esh by Rabbi Yisrael Eisenstein, Lemberg 1880, first edition. On the leaflet there is a dedication in the handwriting and signature of the author to Rabbi Avraham 'and he was with him and read it all his life ...'
The author Rabbi Israel Eisenstein [1837-1905, Otzar HaRabbanim: 11829], Gaon the age of 16 only began to correspond with the words of Rabbi Shlomo Kluger of Brody. Rabbi Yohanan Twersky of Rachmastrivka and Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov Friedman of Sadigura gave their approbations to his book, and the latter, who refrained from writing approbations to halachic books, instructed his chassid Rabbi David Ortenberg to grant consent in his name. In 1891, he was appointed Rabbi of Mikolajev and held his position for 14 years until his death in the winter of 1905.
