A terracotta oil lamp with broad chamfered shoulder and three pierced lugs, recessed discus with actor's mask modelled in the half-round, long D-shaped nozzle, underside with concentric rings and maker's name 'STROBILI'. 84.7 grams, 10.7cm (4 1/2"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Property of a South London collector; previously acquired on the European art market 1970-1980.
