1st century AD
A ceramic oil lamp with basal disc, short nozzle with volute scrolls, concentric rings to the shoulder and discus with low-relief portrait bust of Jupiter with thunderbolt. 53 grams, 94mm (3 3/4"). Fine condition.

From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980.
