Chinese Longquan Celadon Glazed Shallow Dish
Yuan-Ming Dynasty, 1279-1644 AD
A green glazed shallow dish with lobed wells, sea encrustations to the base; two old auction lot stickers to the outer face. 600 grams, 24cm (9 1/2"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Property of an American gentleman; previously with Christie's, New York, sale 13955, lot 75 [part]; formerly with Christie's, Amsterdam, 14 March 1984; previously the property of Captain Michael Hatcher, recovered from a shipwreck in the South China Sea.
