Gandharan Figural Frieze Section with Nude Female
2nd-4th century AD
A carved schist frieze fragment with high-relief design of a central nude female within a rectangular frame standing on a poppy-seed dais, flanked by a group of standing robed females. 4.6 kg, 31cm wide (12 1/4"). Fair condition.
