Islamic Silver-Inlaid Plate
13th-14th century AD
A shallow bronze dish with raised rim and fluted detailing, silver-inlaid pellets to the rim, dense central panel of tendrils and leaves with running scroll border and radiating arrowheads. 214 grams, 22.5cm (9"). Fine condition, repaired.
Provenance
Property of a London gentleman, acquired in the 1990s.
