2nd millennium BC
A bronze sword with H-shaped hilt, the grip with raised ropework detailing; the broad blade trimmed to a short triangle in antiquity. 685 grams, 21.5cm (8 1/2"). Fine condition.

Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965.
