Viking Socketted Spearhead
9th-11th century AD
A hand-forged iron spearhead comprising a slender lozenge-section tapering blade, long neck, flared socket with hole for attachment stud. 240 grams, 45cm (17 3/4"). Fair condition. [No Reserve]

Property of a European collector; formerly in an old European collection formed in the 1980s.
