Medieval Silver Buckle with Plate
14th-15th century AD
A bronze buckle with D-shaped decorative loop and rectangular plate, four studs below; the plate with hatched border, incised line decoration to the centre, four blue enamelled circles to the corners, four green to the centre with three applied gold plates. 32 grams, 96mm (4"). Fine condition.

Property of a European collector; formerly in an old European collection formed in the 1980s.
