19th century AD
A glazed ceramic tile set in in a wood and plaster frame; figural scene executed in blue with a masked female advancing escorted by robed officials before a mob; signed bottom right 'Goyercoa'. 1.5 kg, 27 x 32cm including frame (10 1/2 x 12 1/2"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Property of a North London gentleman; previously in a UK collection formed in the 1980s.
