Victorian Heraldic Mount
19th century AD
A square bronze mount with high-relief heraldic motif, helmet with bird crest and wreath above, stag supporter pierced by an arrow on one side and doe similarly wounded on the other, scroll beneath. 45 grams, 64mm (2 1/2"). Fair condition.
Provenance
Property of a gentleman; acquired in the 1970s.
