Byzantine Gold Mount with Cross
7th-9th century AD
A gold tongue-shaped openwork repousse mount in two parts, with cross to one end followed by alternating heart and four-leaf clover design. 1.79 grams total, 25-75mm (1 - 3"). Fair condition. [2, No Reserve]
