Post Medieval Gold Cross Pendant with Gemstone
19th-20th century AD
A hollow-formed gold cross pendant with expanding arms, applied wire decoration to the rim and granules to each arm, central round cell with inset garnet cloison, ribbed suspension loop above. 6.9 grams, 40mm (1 1/2"). Very fine condition.
Provenance
From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980.
