20th century AD
A silver reliquary cross with suspension loop above and below, to one face engraved Russian Orthodox cross on cobalt blue enamelled background, skull and crossbows below on a light blue enamelled background, inscribed with 'IC / XC' to the horizontal arms, 'цC' and symbol to the upper arm; the other face with light blue enamelled cross to the centre, arms with cobalt blue enamel, horizontal arm inscribed with 'IC / XC', 'ЦC' and symbol above, skull and crossbones with symbol below; hallmarked to the lower arm. 4 grams, 41mm (1 3/4"). Very fine condition. [No Reserve]
