Pliocene Period, 5.2 - 2.5 million years BP
A large Carcharocles megalodon shark tooth from Georgia, USA, with good tooth enamel. 172 grams, 11cm (4 1/4"). Fine condition.
Provenance
From the collection of the palaeontologist R Gledhill, collected between 1930 and 1960.
