JOHN PAUL II: (1920-2005) Pope of the Roman Catholic Church 1978-2005. Canonized in 2014. A lengthy T.L.S., `+ Karol card. Wojtyla´, one page, 8 x 11 folio, Cracow, 25th October 1973, to a professor, in Polish. On a document bearing the printed heading `Metropolita Krakowski´, Wojtyla sends his regards to his correspondent and explains that the Archdiocese of Krakow celebrates over the last year the jubilee..´ Untranslated. Matted in black alongside a colour 8 x 10 photograph of John Paul II, to an overall of 16 x 12. VG £250-350
