MAUPASSANT GUY DE: (1850-1893) French Writer. A.L.S., `Guy de Maupassant´, a good and in full good signature example, one page, small 8vo card, Antibes, n.d., on his personal stationery, Yacht Bel-Ami, also bearing his embossed initials, to an unidentified correspondent, in French. Maupassant states in part `Monsieur, your wish is too easy to please for me and to accomplish it with pleasure..´ VG £1000-1500
Bel-Ami (1885) was a very successful novel by Maupassant, and was also the name of his small sailing yacht.
