TSESAREVICH NICHOLAS ALEXANDROVICH: (1843-1865) Tsesarevich of Russia, son of Tsar Alexander II. Extremely rare signed piece (`Nikolai´), underlined, in Cyrillic, on a 12mo page. The Tsesarevich signs in bold black ink and cleanly adds the date, 5th/17th October 1864, six months before passing away. Autographs in any form of Nicholas Alexandrovich are rare and desirable as a result of his tragic, untimely death at the age of 21. A fold to the left border not affecting the signature, otherwise VG £400-600
