A complete impressive set, in excellent condition and with the original bindings of all the books by Rabbi Yehosef Schwartz. One of the first books of Jerusalem.
Section A: Includes four parts. A. Kadur HaAretz, B. Ayelet HaShachar. C. tzel HaMa'a lot. D. Derech mevoh HaShemesh. Jerusalem, 1843. Yisrael Bak Press. Two title pages. The first with a very nice floral frame. [8], 70, [6] leaves.

Section B: Includes Sefer Tevuat HaAretz, 2 parts. Part A. Mahut Eichut Vekamut HaAretz, Part B. Ma'asseh HaAretz, which is the the chronicles of the kings and residents of the country. Jerusalem, 1845. [2], 156, 52, [3] leaves.

On leaves 1-22 (second pagination), with a special title page, Totzot HaAretz, incldes three parts. Part A: Chayto Aretz. Part B: Tzemach HaAdamah. C: Avaneha Barzel. Ma'amar HaItim about the times of the years.

On leaves 23-52, with a special title page, Ma'asseh HaAretz, second part of Tevuot HaAretz, which is the chronicles of the kings and residents of the country from the time of the destruction of the Temple.

Section C: Sefer Divrei Yosef (the third and fourth section – Rosh A) Pri Tevuah, the laws of our Divine Torah, commentary on the words of the Sages in the Talmud and Midrashim. Pardes, commentary on several verses and words of the Talmud according to Peshat, Remez, Derash and Sod. Jerusalem, 1861. Yisrael Bak Press. [7], 247, [1] leaves.

Section D: Sefer Divrei Yosef (the third and fourth section – Rosh B), includes responsa by the author. Jerusalem, 1862. Yisrael Bak Press. [4], 170, [1] leaves.

All the sections in three volumes. Excellent condition. Bright quality leaves. Original bindings. The first two volumes with a leather spine and gilt inscription. The volumes are almost identical in their size of 16cm.

A complete set such as the one before us is extremely rare!
