Letter from Rabbi Aharon of Belze requesting financial assistance to marry off his brother, Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoraj.
Rabbi Mordechai's first wife was murdered in the holocaust. In 1945 he married the granddaughter of Rabbi Yaakov Chizkiya Greenwald, son of the Arugas Habosem. It was in this marriage that he was blessed with his only son, the present day Admor of Belze.
The letter is addressed to Rabbi Tzvi Yair, Av Beis Din of Rivitz and Rabbi of the Anshei Warsaw shul in New York.
 This present letter is unique that besides that its    signed by the Admor he also added   a handwritten closing blessing.

Rabbi Aharon and Rabbi Mordechai were known to be exceptionally close to one another. They remained together from the outbreak of World War II until their  immigration to Eretz Yisrael, whereupon Rabbi Mordechai assisted his brother in the reestablishing of his Chassidic court and its institutions.
