Check Signed by Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky of Skver
Check dated New York, 1948, addressed to the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Skver, sent by the Ezras Torah organization.
The check itself is signed by Rabbi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin and Rabbi Yaakov Levinson, while Rabbi Yaakov Yosef signed his name in English on the backside.
Original signatures from the Admor  are exceedingly rare
Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky (1899 - 1968) was the son of Rabbi David of Skvere, son or Rabbi Yitzchak of Skvere. His father-in-law, Rabbi Pinchas of Ostile was a son-in-law of Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokach of Belz. Rabbi Yaakov Yosef was renowned as a leading Admor in the last generation. He immigrated to the United States in 1947 and established the New Square neighborhood for his Chassidim in 1954. This was done with much effort in order to seclude his followers from the spiritual dangers of New York. His son is the present day Admor of Skvere.
