Rare Singular Edition Divrei Esther Authored by Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Lancut, Zolkowa, 1863

This singular edition was published in Zolkowa, 1863.
Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Lancut (1758 – 1823) was a prominent disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and renowned for his Torah brilliance. His incredible mind earned him comparison to the great Rabbi Yehonasan Eibeshitz. He served as Av Beis Din of Lancut for many years and authored Chomas Ariel and Arbah Charashim. Towards the end of his life he was appointed Av Beis Din of Kishinev, replacing Rabbi Chaim of Czernowicz, upon the recommendation of the Apta Rav. The Apta Rav himself would visit him on a yearly basis, telling his congregation that Rabbi Aryeh Leib was given Torah secrets which had been buried for four hundred years.
