20 photos of "Binyanei Ha'Uma" (The International Convention Centre) in Jerusalem, taken after the building was inaugurated. Photography: "Keren Or" [Moshe Gross], Haifa, [ca. 1956].
Professional b/w photos of the building planned by architect Ze'ev Rechter, the halls, the outside shape and the architectural design.
Photographer Moshe Gross, native of Leipzig 1925, made Aliya to Eretz Israel in 1933. Served in the Palmach and was involved in photography tours and preparation of operation files for the intelligence unit of the Irgun. In 1956 he founded the photography department of the Electric Company; documented infrastructure projects in the country and was involved in architectural photography. His photos transmit the aesthetic influence of "New Photography" of the 1930s in Europe. Photos: 18X23 cm, pasted to album leaves: 25.5X35 cm. Good condition.
